About Us

We are no longer accepting new customers or providing support for existing customers. Former clients can still view the help topics for their business sector.

Working in the corporate world I missed the joy of being able to affect real change, but I had the stability, pay, benefits, and set hours of a professional engineer. That is, until Lexmark laid off nearly 1,000 people in Lexington in less than a year and closed down an entire division.

I saw being unemployed as an opportunity. With my only child in college and self-sufficient, I had no outside obligations. With a hefty savings account I could take my time. I looked for jobs locally and in far-off destinations like Denver. I had an extremely difficult time finding a job I wanted. I spent several months planning a business strategy to grow Skyview Development into a small business concierge service. Finally, in January, I found a job that I was excited about and was interviewed and subsequently hired.

I am now a full-time technical writer working for Hewlett-Packard (HP). I enjoy my job and my profession, and I get to continue living in Lexington, Ky. I feel like I’m making a difference with the products that I work with, and I get to enjoy the creativity of writing. Because of this, I have decided to close my small business and focus on some personal goals in my free time.

I will continue to maintain this website for my former clients, but am no longer providing services or support.
